About Me
Hi! I’m Stefano Colla, born on September 11, 1995, in a small corner of the world called Monselice, in the province of Padua. If you close your eyes and think of me, picture me as that guy who loves to let his imagination run wild, with hands stained in paint and a ready smile on his lips.
Ever since I was little, I’ve always loved drawing—you know, those moments when you grab a pencil and let everything inside you pour out. But it was at 18 that I decided to try something bigger: I picked up a canvas, some tempera, and... boom! A journey began that has never stopped inspiring me.
My artistic path? Well, it doesn’t go through any academy or formal course. I’m completely self-taught, and maybe that’s exactly what makes each of my works unique. I don’t follow fixed rules, but let my heart guide the brushstrokes. Sometimes it’s chaotic, other times peaceful, but it’s always sincere.
My prints are born from the desire to touch something inside you.
I want you to feel something when you look at them a shiver, a sense of nostalgia, a sudden smile. I’m not trying to tell you a specific story, but I want to leave room for your interpretation, because art lives also (and especially) through those who look at it.
So, if you’re here, I hope my works manage to strike you, intrigue you, or simply make you stop for a moment and breathe. Thank you for making it this far, and remember: art is everywhere, you just have to know how to see it.
See you soon,
Stefano
